Autumnal Face

An unconventional colour scheme for this autumn layout.  I'd already done an autumn layout of my daughter years ago in the traditional browns, reds, warm colours so I wanted to try something a bit more colourful.

All of the embellishments are handmade.  Buttons, rolled flowers, leaves, tree, bird on a branch....

Personalised Frame

My cousin recently celebrated the birth of her little girl and she captured a beautiful photo of her boy and new baby together and I knew it was a special photo that deserved to be scrapped!  So I offered to create a personalised frame for her.  She absolutely loved it.  These are the results.

Using Bo Bunny Timepiece collection.  The flowers (except mini roses) are all handmade.  Bird on a branch cut out using my cricut.

Planning a scrap space

I'm really excited about the impending renovations/extension of my home and the inclusion of a scrap room!!  I have a draftsman coming for an appointment tomorrow to discuss what I want and design all my ideas for me.  It's going to be a huge job.  We are basically doubling the size of our home which for 6 of us is just too small now.

I've been researching some scrap spaces and my head is overflowing with ideas and wish lists!  It's not going to be an overly big area and I really like the idea of having it all hidden behind cupboards so I can just close the door and it's instantly "clean" and beyond the reach of curious little people.

My most recent layout using 3bugsinarug Dawson range.  I'm quickly becoming addicted to the accordian flowers.  I also love the tears in the background to represent dinosaur claws.
